Kate Bruton

Kate is a third-year student at Northeastern University studying International Business, with a double concentration in finance and marketing. Kate’s passion for venture capital grew with her associate position in Northeastern’s Huntington Angels Network, a pro-bono organization which facilitates a flow of capital for Northeastern affiliated founders. Her experience flourished in her position as a Business Development and Platform associate at Glasswing Ventures, an early-stage venture firm which invests in Artificial Intelligence technology. Kate supports her passion for international business in being the founding Head of Marketing chair for Northeastern’s International Business Club, which culminates in an international expansion case competition.

Her experience of studying business in London, and soon in Florence, backs her comprehensive knowledge of multi-cultural business strategies. Kate continues to be involved in campus activity as well as volunteering through participating as an active member in her sorority, which has granted 3 Make-A-Wish wishes. In her free time, Kate enjoys staying active through her casual dedications to playing tennis, golf, and skiing. As a New Hampshire native, she enjoys spending as much time as possible outdoors. Kate is looking forward to expanding her network in the Boston area, as well as, deepening her knowledge and experience in the VC arena.
